(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a decisive, crucial act, leading 2024 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has rebelled against the reign of wokeism and Marxism in US education with a plan to use private college money to prevent them from turning American students into “Communists and terrorist sympathizers.”
In a special policy video (see below) released on Thursday, former President Donald Trump has unveiled an ambitious blueprint for a new educational endeavor named the American Academy, with the intent of establishing a non-partisan, non-ideological institution.
This initiative aims to offer Americans cost-free educational credits, with funds sourced through “taxing, fining, and suing excessively large private university endowments.”
In the policy video, Trump criticized the current state of higher education in America, highlighting a perceived left-wing bias that has become more pronounced following the violent actions of the Palestinian Islamist terrorist group Hamas, which massacred over 1,400 people in Israel in October.
Some students and faculty at prominent American universities have demonstrated support for Hamas and engaged in anti-Semitic protests.
“In recent weeks, Americans have been horrified to see students and faculty at Harvard and other once-respected universities expressing support for the savages and jihadists who attacked Israel,” Trump commented, as cited by Breitbart News.
“We spend more money on higher education than any other country—and yet, they’re turning our students into Communists and terrorist sympathizers. We can’t let this happen. It’s time to offer something dramatically different,” he declared further.
The 45th president of the United States said his plan would not burden the federal debt.
“Under the plan I’m announcing today, we will take the billions and billions of dollars that we will collect by taxing, fining, and suing excessively large private university endowments, and we will then use that money to endow a new institution called the American Academy…a world-class education available to every American, free of charge,” Trump explained.
Trump’s 2017 tax law, according to Politico, already placed a 1.4 percent tax on the investment income of affluent private universities.
In 2022, this levy generated $244 million from 58 institutions, per the latest IRS data, providing a basis for the proposed funding mechanism of the American Academy.
Trump’s vision for the American Academy encompasses a comprehensive curriculum accessible to all American citizens online at no cost.
He described the institution as a “top-tier education option” free from political influence, stating explicitly, “strictly non-political, and there will be no wokeness or jihadism allowed.”
