(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – One of the big questions surrounding former President Donald J.Trump’s presidential run announcement scheduled for tonight is whether his daughter Ivanka Trump will be present for the event and whether she will participate significantly in his third presidential campaign.
According to several reports, Ivanka, the most requested speaker of the Trump children in Donald’s previous campaigns, and her husband, Jared, are not eager to get involved with another campaign.
According to the New York Post in a piece headlined “Trump begging Jared, Ivanka to join him on stage for campaign launch: sources“:
“The 76-year-old former president spent part of daughter Tiffany’s lavish Mar-a-Lago wedding this past weekend trying to convince his much-loved eldest daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner to be with him on stage when he announces his third consecutive run for the presidency at the Palm Beach resort Tuesday night, sources told The Post Monday.
“So far, the man known for “The Art of the Deal” has not closed this one.”
Specifically:
“‘Trump thought he could convince Ivanka this weekend to come back and campaign for him as she was the most requested speaker after the president himself last time around… but so far she’s resisting his entreaties and holding firm, as is Jared,’ one insider said. ‘They both feel they got burned in Washington and don’t want to go back and expose themselves and their children to another bitter campaign.'”
The first question, will Ivanka and Jared join Donald Trump at his campaign launch, will be answered in just a matter of hours as the event is scheduled for 9 pm Eastern this evening at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
All of the major networks are expected to broadcast the event.
