(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – A radical leftist congresswoman has attacked Joe Biden, blaming him for a bloody hospital blast in the Gaza Strip, which US ally Israel says was caused by Palestinian terrorist groups.
Some 300 people perished due to the blast at the Christian Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip Tuesday night, an incident occurring ten days after Palestinian terrorist networks Hamas and Islamic Jihad invaded Israel and massacred over 1,400 civilians.
The Gaza authorities, which Hamas runs, blamed the hospital explosion on an Israeli rocket strike. Israel’s military declared it was caused by a malfunctioning device fired against the Jewish State by Islamic Jihad.
Reacting to the hospital explosion, US Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a radical leftist, criticized President Biden’s visit to Israel, accusing him of encouraging the Israeli military’s actions against Hamas in Gaza instead of advocating for de-escalation and a peaceful resolution.
Tlaib, who is of Palestinian Arab origin, specifically mentioned the bombing of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians.
“Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that. @POTUS this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate,” she wrote, as cited by The Washington Times.
“Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslim Americans like me. We will remember where you stood,” Tlaib added, addressing Biden.
The radical leftist attack against the president occurred just as he arrived in Israel to demonstrate America’s support for the US ally.
The US government has designated Hamas as a terrorist organization, and Biden has called on Israel to eliminate Hamas.
During a joint press conference with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu, the president declared that the Israelis did not fire the rocket that hit the Gaza hospital but by some Palestinian terrorists.
“We’re deeply saddened by the explosion in the hospital in Gaza yesterday, and based on what I’ve seen, it appears that it was done by the other team, not you,” Biden said, speaking alongside Netanyahu.
