Biden Gets Disastrous News

Joe Biden

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – President Joe Biden’s approval ratings among registered US voters are disastrous, both overall and on specific policy issues, according to the findings of a new public opinion poll.

The latest Harvard University and Harris Polls survey established that fewer than half of American registered voters – or 42% – approved at least partly of Joe Biden’s overall job performance in July.

At the same time, more than half – 55% – disapproved of the 80-year-old Democrat president at least somewhat, Breitbart News reports.

Biden’s ratings with registered voters on different critical policy issues are similarly dire, the report points out.

Thus, only 38% of those polled said they approved of how he had handled the US economy. Even fewer – 35% – found good words for his handling of inflation, a decline compared with 38% in February.

The president isn’t doing much better on immigration: only 38% said they approved of his policies on the issue, which feature the biggest illegal immigrant invasion of the United States ever.

Biden’s approval on coping with crime and violence stands at 37%, a decline by five points from 42% in March.

At the same time, 47% of the surveyed registered voters declared approval for Biden’s employment stimulation, and 43% supported his tackling of terrorism.

Half of those polled said they approved of how the president dealt with the coronavirus pandemic, and 42% approved of his policies on foreign affairs and administering the federal government.

“Coinciding with Biden’s lower approval ratings is that voters are souring on the Democrat Party,” Breitbart points out.

According to the survey, 56% of registered US voters disapproved of the Democratic Party in July, an increase of three points from 53% in May.

In even worse news for Biden, 68% of the respondents declared that he was too old to serve as president of the United States, and 59% made it clear they had doubts about his mental acuity.

The Harvard – Harris poll was conducted among 2,068 registered voters from July 19-20, 2023.

Its results came on the heels of a recent report by three NBC News journalists exposing changes to Biden’s day-to-day scheduling, which were motivated by public concerns over his mental fitness and age.
