CHILDREN’S HEALTH CRISIS: In a nation that promises hope and prosperity, a new study has revealed an alarming decline in the health of American children.

A comprehensive study examining 17 years of health data reveals alarming increases in obesity, chronic conditions, and mental health issues among children.

The alarming research, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, examined 170 different health indicators from eight data sources, all of which pointed to a consistent downward trend in child health across America.

Obesity rates for U.S. children aged 2-19 jumped from 17% in 2007-2008 to approximately 21% in 2021-2023, creating a generation facing serious health complications before they even reach adulthood.

The study’s leader, Dr. Christopher Forrest, stated, “The surprising part of the study wasn’t any with any single statistic; it was that there’s 170 indicators, eight data sources, all showing the same thing: a generalized decline in kids’ health.”

Even more disturbing, children in 2023 were 15% to 20% more likely to have chronic conditions like anxiety, depression, or sleep apnea compared to those in 2011.

Overall prevalence rates for 97 chronic conditions surged from about 40% in 2011 to about 46% in 2023, nearly half of all American children now suffering from at least one chronic condition.

American children also face a dramatically higher risk of death compared to their peers in other developed nations.

The research showed U.S. children were 1.8 times more likely to die than those in other high-income countries from 2007-2022, with higher rates of premature birth, sudden unexpected death, firearm-related incidents, and motor vehicle crashes.

Further proof of the woke agenda’s impact on children comes from a Northwestern study revealing that children as young as 7th grade are using inappropriate skincare products, influenced by social media platforms like TikTok.

The average cost of these unnecessary “tween skincare regimens” is a staggering $168, placing additional financial burdens on American families while potentially damaging children’s developing skin.

“Kids are the canaries in the coal mine,” noted Dr. Forrest, highlighting how the broader societal breakdown under progressive leadership directly impacts our children’s well-being.

Conservative families have long warned about the dangers of government interference in parenting decisions, the promotion of unhealthy lifestyles, and the prioritization of progressive ideology over practical health solutions.

The data clearly shows that after nearly two decades of increasing liberal influence over healthcare, education, and family policy, American children are sicker, more depressed, and at greater risk than ever before.

This study further intensifies the debate over societal and governmental responsibilities to nurture not just a healthy but flourishing generation of children—a prerequisite for a promising America.
