Growing increasingly tired of the rumors about her family, First Lady Melania Trump has slammed the fake reports targeting her husband and her son.
The first lady’s criticism stems from liberal social media users who have spread a baseless conspiracy theory.
These people have linked President Donald Trump’s conflict with Harvard University to fabricated lies about Barron’s supposedly rejected application.
The facts prove otherwise, as Barron never applied to the elite institution currently battling the administration over antisemitism concerns and foreign student documentation.
The first lady’s spokesperson, Nicholas Clemens, set the record straight through an unequivocal statement to the media.
“Barron did not apply to Harvard, and any assertion that he, or that anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false,” Clemes stated.
Barron is currently attending New York University’s prestigious Stern School of Business, where he is expected to graduate in 2028.
The 18-year-old began his college career amid the intense public scrutiny that comes with being a Trump family member during this politically charged era.
“I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college—it’s very different than any other kid,” stated First Lady Melania.
Although leftists have attempted to create a narrative connecting President Trump’s concerns about Harvard with personal grievances, the administration’s actions against the university stem from serious policy issues.
The president has criticized Harvard for being “very antisemitic” and suggested reallocating its federal funding to trade schools that would better serve American workers.
The administration has frozen $2.65 billion in federal grants to Harvard and the Department of Homeland Security informed the university it had lost the privilege of enrolling foreign students.
These actions come after Harvard faced accusations of creating an unsafe environment and promoting pro-Hamas sympathies on campus.
Harvard responded by suing the White House, claiming violations of the First Amendment after the attempted elimination of the F-1 student visa exchange program.
A judge has temporarily prevented the revocation of Harvard’s certification in the Student and Exchange Visitor Program.
Nevertheless, President Trump has expressed confidence that the government will ultimately prevail.
The false narrative about Barron’s rejection gained traction when social media users like Doug Wahl posted inflammatory comments.
He claimed without evidence: “It’s as simple as this. Barron was rejected by Harvard. Malia got in! MAGA hates that! It makes their racist blood boil! This is the reason the Trump administration is going after the University- it’s nothing more than this.”
President Trump has been transparent about his concerns with Harvard, stating:
“We are still waiting for the Foreign Student Lists from Harvard so that we can determine, after a ridiculous expenditure of BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, how many radicalized lunatics, troublemakers all, should not be let back into our Country.”
Meanwhile, Harvard’s lawyers claim, “the university will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights.”
