In a strong-worded warning, President Donald Trump has firmly stated that he will deploy “the most powerful and lethal weapons ever built” if Russia proceeds to supply Iran with nuclear warheads.

This declaration comes on the heels of U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities that likely left America’s enemies shaken.

Trump called out former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev after Medvedev suggested that other countries might provide Iran with nuclear armaments as a response to the U.S. actions against Iranian nuclear sites.

Trump addressed Medvedev’s remarks with skepticism, curious if he indeed made such a stance.

“Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually throwing around the ‘N word’ (Nuclear!), and saying that he and other Countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran?” Trump questioned.

Medvedev, currently serving as deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, warned that Iran could keep advancing its nuclear capabilities, potentially with external help.

He claimed that “a number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads,” highlighting increased tensions.

The historic support Iran has received from Russia is notable, but this recent rhetoric brings an alarming escalation.

“The enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue,” Medvedev said.

The airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan engaged over 125 aircraft, including advanced B-2 stealth bombers.

Trump particularly praised the role that a guided-missile nuclear submarine played in the operation.

The submarine launched over two dozen Tomahawk cruise missiles, all reaching their intended targets without fail.

Trump’s comments drew criticism from Medvedev, who accused the former president of propelling the U.S. into yet another war.

Nevertheless, Trump’s unwavering focus was on showcasing U.S. military superiority.

“By the way, if anyone thinks our ‘hardware’ was great over the weekend, far and away the strongest and best equipment we have, 20 years advanced over the pack, is our Nuclear Submarines,” Trump added.

“They are the most powerful and lethal weapons ever built, and just launched the 30 Tomahawks — All 30 hit their mark perfectly. So, in addition to our Great Fighter Pilots, thank you to the Captain and Crew!” the president said further.

In the face of these escalations, Russia’s standing remains uncertain. President Vladimir Putin condemned the U.S. strike, deeming it an unprovoked act of aggression.

Meanwhile, Iran retaliated by firing missiles at a U.S. military base in Qatar, though these were intercepted, resulting in no casualties.
