In a stunning affront to justice, an inmate allegedly forged death threats against President Trump to manipulate the immigration system for personal gain.

Demetric DeShawn Scott penned death threats against Trump in the name of Ramon Morales-Reyes, an illegal alien set to testify against him in an upcoming criminal trial.

Scott, currently jailed in Milwaukee, faces multiple charges, including felony witness intimidation, identity theft, and bail jumping after investigators uncovered his elaborate plan.

He allegedly sent threatening letters to various state and federal officials using Morales-Reyes’ name and return address, deliberately attempting to trigger deportation proceedings against the witness.

The scheme temporarily worked. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced Morales-Reyes’s arrest for allegedly threatening President Trump.

However, investigators quickly noticed discrepancies that raised red flags about the authenticity of the threats.

Forensic analysis revealed significant inconsistencies between Morales-Reyes’ actual handwriting and the threatening letters.

Additionally, the Mexican immigrant’s limited English fluency contradicted the language proficiency displayed in the threats.

These discrepancies prompted authorities to dig deeper, eventually identifying Scott as the actual author. However, his own words ultimately undid his plot.

Law enforcement recorded jail calls in which he openly discussed his plan to use Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to dismiss his case by removing the key witness.

During questioning, Scott eventually confessed to writing the threatening letters himself.

Scott is currently awaiting trial for armed robbery and aggravated battery charges, with Morales-Reyes as the victim.

The trial is scheduled for July, which explains Scott’s desperate attempt to eliminate the witness against him.

In spite of the scheme being exposed, Morales-Reyes, a father of three, remains in custody due to his illegal status in the country.

He was arrested after dropping off his daughter at a Milwaukee school and now faces potential removal proceedings before an immigration judge in Chicago.

Adding another layer of complexity to this case, Morales-Reyes has applied for a U visa, which is designed explicitly for illegal aliens who become victims of serious crimes.

His attorneys are working on securing his release while the legal process unfolds.

In addition, records showed that Morales-Reyes has a history of illegal entry into the United States and prior felony charges.

This makes Americans question why he was not previously deported and how he has been able to remain in the country despite his criminal background and immigration status.

Scott reportedly expressed satisfaction when he learned that his plot had initially succeeded in detaining Morales-Reyes.

Now, he faces additional serious charges that, if convicted, could significantly extend his time behind bars.

The Department of Homeland Security continues to investigate the threats as this complex case moves through the criminal justice and immigration systems.

This case highlights the ongoing challenges in protecting national security while ensuring that justice is appropriately served in courts.
