Mainstream Media Prove Trump’s Point

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Proving beyond doubt Donald Trump’s conclusion that the mainstream media, which are now leftist by definition, are prejudiced against him, CNN and MSNBC have demonstrated their bias once again as they’ve refused to air the former president’s victory speech in the Iowa caucuses.

The two leftist propaganda outlets chose not to fully broadcast former President Donald Trump’s victory speech after the Republican Iowa caucus on Monday evening, opting instead to air speeches from other candidates, Breitbart News points out in a report.

The MSNBC host Rachel Maddow explained the decision during her show.

“At this point in the evening, the projected winner of the Iowa caucuses has just started giving his victory speech. We will keep an eye on that as it happens… There is a reason that we and other news organizations have generally stopped giving an unfiltered Live platform to remarks by former President Trump and it is not out of spite,” she said.

“There is a cost to us as a news organization, knowingly broadcasting untrue things as a fundamental truth of our business and who we are and so his remarks tonight will not air here live we will monitor them and let you know about any news that he makes,” Maddow argued.

CNN, similarly, aired only a brief segment of Trump’s speech, cutting away when he began discussing the border.

According to the Media Research Center’s Newsbusters.org, CNN anchor Jake Tapper interrupted Trump’s speech.

“Donald Trump declaring victory with a historically strong showing in the Iowa caucuses… A relatively subdued speech as the things go so far. Although, here he is, right now, under my voice. You can hear him repeating his anti-immigrant rhetoric,” Tapper said.

Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt criticized the networks’ decision in a social media post.

“The brass [at] @CNN and @MSNBC would not air it…because they aren’t news channels. They are channels of opinion which wish to exclude center-right opinion, with consequent deep damage to their ‘news’ brands,” he wrote.

In contrast, both MSNBC and CNN broadcasted speeches by Trump’s rivals: former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

“Trump won every county in Iowa thus CNN and MSNBC must protect their fragile viewers from his utterances. We are witnessing an elite panic. It’s as primitive and superstitious as the one that declared some women to be witches capable of casting spells,” author Michael Shellenberger commented.
