Boebert Cleared; Ex Arrested

Lauren Boebert

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Distressing scandals involving GOP US Rep. Lauren Boebert have seen a new development – this time, the lawmaker’s name has been cleared of violence accusations while her former husband, Jayson Boebert, has been arrested for assaulting one of their sons.

According to an arrest warrant, Jayson was taken into custody over an incident involving his son, Tyler, at their residence in Silt, Colorado.

This situation is distinct from a separate incident on January 6 at Miner’s Claim Restaurant involving Boebert and his ex-wife.

Garfield County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Boebert’s house around 1 a.m. Tuesday after

Tyler called 911, reporting his father was intoxicated and possessed a rifle, as per the arrest warrant.

“Tyler described that Jayson shoved him by placing one hand in the area of his throat/neck and pushing back,” as stated by Deputy Cid Ramirez in the warrant.

The document further notes that during the escalating altercation, Boebert allegedly “stuck his right-hand thumb into Tyler’s mouth … [and] Tyler felt that Jayson was going to pull his tooth out.”

During the alleged confrontation, Tyler managed to contact his mother, who advised him to call the police.

Tyler indicated that his father, apparently under the influence of alcohol, fumbled and dropped the phone several times. Tyler surmised his father’s intoxication based on his clumsy behavior and slurred speech.

Jayson Boebert was arrested on Tuesday for prohibited use of weapons, harassment, and third-degree assault concerning the incident with his son — all misdemeanors.

Additionally, this arrest follows an earlier January 6 event at Miner’s Claim restaurant in Silt, where Jayson Boebert accused his former wife of domestic violence, alleging she punched him in the face.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) told the police that she and Jayson discussed their “new partners” at their former marital home. She believed Jayson was retaliating emotionally due to the divorce, as per Officer Terran Farnham’s report.

However, following an investigation where no direct witnesses or video evidence was found, and with Jayson recanting claims of domestic violence, Silt police concluded the allegations against Rep. Boebert were unfounded and closed the investigation.

Jayson Boebert expressed regret over his actions in an interview with Westword, acknowledging his emotional state and wishing he had handled things differently.

The couple, who married in the mid-2000s, divorced in 2023 due to irreconcilable differences.
