Experts: It’s Biden’s Fault

Joe Biden

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Not that any American patriot has had doubts about it – but defense experts are now categorical that President Joe Biden has made a giant policy mess, which has now encouraged Islamic countries and Islamist terrorists to brazenly attack the US, Israel, and other Western nations.

A report by The Daily Caller features several military specialists observing that the Biden administration, over several years, has been reinforcing Islamic entities and nations that are currently at odds with America and its Western allies.

This involvement has been particularly notable in conflicts in the Middle East.

A significant instance of this was a retaliatory strike launched by coalition naval and air forces against Yemen’s Houthi terrorists, an Iranian proxy, on Thursday.

This action highlighted the ongoing broader conflict in the Middle East involving the US, Israel, and other Western allies against extremist Islamic groups.

Some of these groups and nations have reportedly benefited from the Biden administration’s policies, including sanctions relief and aid.

“Biden administration policies have weakened the strategic security and economic interests of the US and our allies in the Middle East – with deadly consequences,” commented Michael Bars, a former Trump White House senior communications advisor and National Security Council official.

The Houthis have launched numerous attacks in the Red Sea against commercial vessels since October 2023, often prompting US forces to intervene.

On Monday, the Houthis managed for the first time to strike a US-operated commercial vessel, which, however, survived the hit.

The Trump administration designated the Houthis as a terrorist organization in 2021, but Biden removed this label shortly after taking office, citing concerns over potential humanitarian impacts on Yemen.

Biden is reconsidering this decision due to the Houthis’ recent escalation in aggression.

“A re-designation of the Iran-supported Houthi organization… is long overdue,” said Matt Zweig, a senior policy director at the Foundation of Defense for Democracies (FDD).

He highlighted the group’s history of threatening and attacking international shipping and US allies and partners in the region.

The report stresses that Biden has made several concessions to Iran, recognized as the world’s largest state sponsor of terror by the US, including easing oil sanction enforcement.

Thus, as of September 2023, Iranian oil exports reached approximately 2 million barrels a day, a stark increase from just 400,000 barrels during the Trump administration. This surge in oil exports has significantly boosted Iran’s revenue.
