Hero’s Widow: Putin Is ‘Demonic’

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a chilling description of Vladimir Putin, the widow of Alexei Navalny, who recently perished in a penal colony, has described Russia’s president as “demonic” – as the authorities finally agreed to return the late heroic Russian opposition leader’s body to his family.

47-year-old Navalny, who was served a 19-year sentence for “extremism” in the harsh Arctic prison, died under mysterious circumstances, with various reports and claims emerging that the Putin regime murdered him with a chemical weapon.

On Saturday, the Kremlin said Russian officials had handed over the body of Alexei Navalny to his mother more than a week after his death.

The arrangements for his funeral are still being finalized, and there’s uncertainty surrounding whether the Russian government will allow the ceremony to proceed in the manner desired by his family and befitting of Alexei’s stature, stated Nalvany’s spokesperson, Kira Yarmysh.

In a poignant video released earlier on Saturday, Navalny’s widow, Yulia Navalnya, expressed her deep anguish and criticized Vladimir Putin.

She called Putin “demonic” for not releasing her husband’s remains and accused him of holding them “hostage.”

Navalnaya accused the Russian president of “torturing” Navalny even in death, paralleling the treatment he received while alive.

She vehemently condemned Putin for obstructing their ability to conduct a dignified funeral.

“You are mocking the remains of the deceased,” she said.

The transportation of Navalny’s body to Salekhard after he died in the severe conditions of the Arctic penal colony IK-3 in remote Kharp, located roughly 1,200 miles northeast of Moscow, was confirmed by Russian officials.

Lyudmila Navalnya, Navalny’s mother, disclosed on Friday that the Russian authorities had set conditions for the release of her son’s body, insisting on a private burial and prohibiting any public funeral service.

She was urged to quickly comply with their demands as his body had started to decompose.

The bereaved mother said that refusal to accept these terms would result in Navalny being interred at the penal colony, as per statements from aides to Navalny.

The question of whether a public memorial service will be held remains unanswered by Yarmysh as of Saturday.

There were earlier claims by Kremlin investigators that Navalny’s body could not be released for two weeks due to ongoing “chemical examinations.”

Yarmysh labeled this justification as “a blatant lie,” suggesting it was an effort to hide the truth behind the alleged assassination.
