Hillary Caught Lying About Trump – Again (Video)

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a truly lowly propaganda attempt, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden have joined forces to try to lie to the nation that Donald Trump would slash Social Security by posting online a video interview snippet suggesting so, whereas the full version shows the former president was talking about cutting waste, fraud and abuse.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has taken to social media to urge older adults to pay attention to comments made by former President Trump concerning Social Security.

This action came after Trump, who was Clinton’s opponent in the 2016 presidential race, spoke in favor of reducing theft and waste in Social Security entitlements during a CNBC interview on Monday.

However, President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign has been promoting on social media a brief clip from Trump’s interview making it sound as though he wanted to cut Social Security altogether.

“Have seniors in your life? They should see this,” Clinton stated in a message on X, in which she shared the short snippet of the video.

During this interview, Trump was questioned about the apparent similarity between his and Biden’s approaches to managing entitlements, such as Social Security and Medicare, especially considering his previous promises not to alter these programs.

“Seems like something has to be done, or else we’re going to be stuck at 120 percent of debt to GDP forever,” said Joe Kernen, the co-host of CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”

“So first of all, there is a lot you can do in terms of entitlements, in terms of cutting,” Trump began his response.

This statement is precisely where the clip promoted by the Biden campaign concludes.

However, Trump elaborated in the full interview, “and in terms of also the theft and the bad management of entitlements, tremendous bad management of entitlements.”

“There’s tremendous amounts of things and numbers of things you can do. So I don’t necessarily agree with the statement,” the former president added further.

President Biden quickly seized the opportunity to respond to Trump’s comments from the interview by posting “Not on my watch” on X, The Hill reports.

“Cutting the Medicare and Social Security benefits that Americans have paid to earn their whole lives, only to make room for yet more unaffordable, trickle-down tax giveaways to the super wealthy, is exactly backwards,” stated White House spokesperson Andrew Bates, reacting to the CNBC interview.

The Trump campaign clarified that his comments on “cutting” specifically targeted “cutting waste.”
