(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – The Co-Chairperson of the Republican National Committee and daughter-in-law of Donald Trump, Lara Trump, has declared that “these people are so deranged” as she launched a critique against major news networks for their portrayal of the legal proceedings involving the former President, Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is contending with 34 charges of felony related to a payment of $130,000 to the adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

This payment was part of a confidentiality agreement aimed at silencing Daniels regarding an alleged 2006 romantic encounter with Trump, made during his victorious campaign for the presidency in 2016.

A compilation of CNN and MSNBC anchors mocking Donald Trump’s presence at the trial was broadcasted on “Fox and Friends,” providing a platform for the former president’s daughter-in-law to voice her disapproval of these media outlets, accusing them of being out of touch.

“These people are so deranged and they’re completely disconnected, obviously, from the people of this country. They only stand to exist in their own echo chambers,” Lara Trump conveyed to the host Lawrence Jones, as cited by The Daily Caller.

She argued that the media’s fixation on Donald Trump obscures the true issue at stake, which she believes is the integrity of American democracy itself.

“It is our very democracy. Because, yes, it is Donald Trump today that you will see sitting in the courtroom for this completely meritless clown show of a show trial but the implications of this are far deeper for this country because if in America we are able to just manipulate the law when convenient, if we allow violent criminals to go free and prosecute the innocent, if they are willing to thwart the will of the American people, and try to remove our choice for president of the United States, then the fabric of this country is irreparably damaged,” Lara Trump elaborated.

While MSNBC dedicated a continuous six-hour segment to the trial under the headline “Trump on Trial,” Fox News presented not only legal analysis of the proceedings but also covered the demonstrations that disrupted traffic across bridges in New York and California on Monday.

Lara Trump further emphasized the ineffectiveness of the media’s tactics against Donald Trump, highlighting the strong support he continues to receive.

“I want to tell everybody something out there,” she said, pointing out that the former president’s campaign received $1.5 million in donations in a single day, with an average contribution of $28.

“So even here in the abysmal Biden economy, people are coming out and they are financially supporting this president … The people of this country are with him and those folks you just heard from there do not represent even a single person out there across this country,” the RNC deputy chairwoman concluded.
