(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In despicable comments, President Joe Biden has reportedly slandered and attacked vital US ally Israel and its conservative government led by Benjamin Netanyahu – and has allegedly done so a day after telling a White House gathering how much he admired the Jewish State.
At a private fundraiser in Washington, DC, President Joe Biden expressed critical views of Israel and Netanyahu’s government, contrasting with his previous remarks at the White House Hanukkah party, where he spoke of his admiration for Israel.
The Times of Israel reported Biden’s accusation of Israel engaging in “indiscriminate bombing” in Gaza, noting he offered no evidence.
Israel launched an offensive in the Gaza Strip enclave to destroy the Palestinian Islamist terrorist group Hamas, after, on October 7, Hamas butchered over 1,400 Israelis and foreigners in a surprise attack.
Biden also suggested that Netanyahu should reorganize his democratically-elected coalition and embrace the concept of a Palestinian Arab state.
This aligns with Biden’s earlier comments in July, where he explained his reluctance to meet with Netanyahu since his election, citing the presence of “extreme” Cabinet members in Netanyahu’s government.
“US President Joe Biden says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs to change his hardline government that has made it very difficult for the international community to back Israel in the war against Hamas,” The Times of Israel reports.
“The president also says Israel is losing global support due to its ‘indiscriminate bombing’ in Gaza. ‘This is the most conservative government in Israel’s history,’ Biden says during a campaign fundraiser in Washington, adding that the Netanyahu-led coalition ‘doesn’t want a two-state solution’ — the path Washington has called for after the war with Hamas,” the Israeli news outlet writes further.
Biden had previously used the term “indiscriminate” to describe Israel’s bombing in Gaza during the early stages of the war, indicating that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had become more precise since then. His recent comments suggest a shift in his perception, Breitbart notes.
Breitbart News reported that at the White House Hanukkah event, Biden expressed his affection for Netanyahu despite their differences and identified himself as a “Zionist,” acknowledging that this stance might not be popular in certain southern regions of the US.
Responding to Biden’s remarks about the bombing, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari stated that Israel’s military actions in Gaza were carried out with precision, and the US had been provided with evidence.
