VIDEO: Biden Impeachment ‘Imminent’

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – An impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden by the GOP majority in the House of Representatives is now “imminent,” House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has declared.

You can watch a video of Comer’s remarks further down this post.

Comer (R-KY) has spearheaded the House Republicans’ investigation into the Biden family’s finances and murky foreign business dealings managed by First Son Hunter Biden.

On Wednesday, the Kentucky Republican told Fox News host Sean Hannity in an interview that he was confident an impeachment probe against Biden would be launched because of a growing consensus of the House GOP on the issue.

Comer’s declaration that a Biden impeachment was upcoming came after Hannity asked him what House Republicans could do to force the National Archives agency to release some 5,400 emails from Joe Biden’s vice-presidential terms in which he used pseudonyms.

“Now, the National Archives is claiming that Joe Biden, who is using aliases or pseudonyms — Robert Peters, Robin Ware, JRB Ware, and they’re saying that you need to get permission from Joe Biden to get the pseudonym email accounts that are critical to your oversight investigation, and you’re going to need Barack Obama’s approval?” the Fox News host said.

“That’s never going to happen. That sounds to me like they’re covering for Joe, and they’re trying to run out the clock so you can’t finish your investigation. What — what tools do you have at your disposal to expedite this?” Hannity continued, asking Comer.

“Well, I think there’s consensus in our conference now that we’re going to have to go to impeachment inquiry,” the House Oversight Committee chairman replied.

“Obviously, that’ll be Speaker McCarthy’s call, but I feel like we’re there now, Sean. I feel like that’s imminent, and I believe that that will be a tool in our toolbox when we go to court with our subpoena,” he elaborated.

Comer stressed that his committee has “legislative oversight” over the federal archives agency, and the Biden alias emails have been lawfully requested.

“They’ve stonewalled us in the Biden mishandling of classified documents. Now, they’re — you know, we hope they don’t stonewall us in the pseudonym request. There are 5,400 emails in at least three different pseudonyms,” the Kentucky Republican noted.
