White House ‘Swatted’

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a potentially dangerous incident involving the White House, the president’s residence was targeted with a fake 911 report claiming that it had caught fire, causing dozens of emergency personnel to be dispatched in the latest high-profile incident of the so-called “swatting” pranks.

According to Noah Gray, the Washington DC Fire and EMS spokesman, the bogus tip was received at 7:03 a.m. on Monday.

Rescue crews were dispatched at 7:04 a.m. Yet, shortly after that, “in coordination with the Secret Service, it was determined there was no fire emergency” at the White House.

Thus, Gray said, the firefighters “returned to service at 7:16 a.m,” so the fire scare ended swiftly.

At the time of the bogus 911 call incident, President Joe Biden was absent from the White House – he was at the Camp David retreat in Maryland.

The Post reports that the White House refused to comment on the disturbance, directing any questions to the Secret Service, which hasn’t issued a statement.

The report stresses that both Democrat and Republican politicians have recently been the victims of “swatting” incidents – these involve fake emergency calls causing the arrivals of personnel, often heavily armed, thus “terrifying the target.”

GOP figures who’ve suffered swatting attacks lately include US Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who saw a fake suicide hotline tip and a raid of her house on Christmas Day, as well as Florida US Senator Rick Scott and New York US Rep. Brandon Williams.

The targeted Democrats include billionaire George Soros, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, and Shenna Bellows, the Maine Secretary of State who lately removed former President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot in her state.

Other public figures swatted are law professor Jonathan Turley, who speaks out on Biden family corruption, and John Paul Mac Isaac, the Delaware computer repairman who leaked Hunter Biden’s lost laptop to the American public.

Also lately, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, who presides over the $370 million civil fraud trial against Trump, saw a fake bomb threat at his home last week.

DC federal judge Tanya Chutkan, who presides over Trump’s 2020 election federal trial, saw a fake shooting report for her home.

The US authorities haven’t disclosed any suspicions concerning the incidents.

In 2018, an Israeli-American teenager was convicted of swatting calls to Jewish institutions, saying he did it “out of boredom.”
