Biden Finally Admits the Truth

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a stunning U-turn, Joe Biden has finally admitted the Southern Border of the United States is “not” secure and vowed “massive,” though undisclosed, changes in immigration policy if House Republicans are willing to work with him.

More than 10 million illegal aliens have invaded the United States in the three years during which Biden has occupied the White House.

During a speech before a mixed political group of mayors in the White House East Room, the president acknowledged the insecurity of the US-Mexico border on Friday, deviating from previous statements by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

In his address, the 81-year-old expressed his anticipation for Senate mediators to propose a bipartisan solution next week regarding border policies, The New York Post reports.

This proposal is part of a larger $106 billion supplementary budget request, which includes funding for military support to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.

“I believe we need significant policy changes at the border, including changes in our asylum system to ensure that we have the authorities we need to control the border. I’m ready to act,” Biden declared.

“Now the question is for the [House] Speaker [Mike Johnson] and the House Republicans: Are they ready to act as well?” he asked.

“They have to choose whether they want to solve a problem or keep weaponizing the issue to score political points against the president. I’m ready to solve the problem. I really am. Massive changes, and I mean it sincerely,” the president added.

He didn’t reveal any details about what kind of policy changes he had in mind.

“It’s unclear what asylum policy changes could be palatable to all three of the White House, Senate Democrats and House Republicans,” The Post comments.

It points out that the current administration’s policy allows almost all migrants who cross the border illegally to remain in the US while they wait for their asylum cases, which are severely backlogged.

This policy grants them work permits after an initial waiting period.

Since his inauguration in 2021, Biden had abolished the “Remain in Mexico” policy of former President Donald Trump, which mandated most asylum seekers to stay in Mexico while their cases were being adjudicated.

Despite his recent acknowledgment of border insecurity, Biden stood by Mayorkas.

“I don’t get it,” the president said when asked about GOP efforts to impeach the latter.
